DirectX 7 *chm file

On my site some of our tutorials cover DirectX 7. Above the tut''s I have a note explaining the need for the DX SDK with a link to MS. What I''m considering is uploading the Dx7 help files (1 *.chm file and 1 *.chi file) for people who have the Dx8 SDK or higher but want the DirectDraw specific help and don''t want to download another 120+ MB SDK. Does anyone know if there are any legal issues here? I would imagine it would be ok since the SDK is free and all. I''ve read through the EULA and it only talks about redistributing the source code provided. Thanks in advance for any help. MSVC++ 6 DirectX 7

People on here always seem to be afraid to put the kettle on without consulting a lawyer
Just do it. You aren''t exploiting anyone or making money out of them, just genuinely trying to help people. Just do it, if they dissaprove you''ll get a letter, and if worse comes to worse you can take it down.
I use DX7 a lot, I think its a really good idea.

Just put it up there. Note that DirectDraw documentation isn''t included in the recent DirectX (>=8) SDK, so it''s good to be able to download it from somewhere. I think you can find it on MS'' site somewhere deeply hidden:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=12471, or directly to it:

I have every DirectX SDK posted at IcarusIndie.com in the DevZone in a number of forms.

It''s legal as long as you distribute everything as is.
