From the UK trade paper MCV Feb 14th "The commercial realities of working with leading retailers were further underlined to games firms this week, with MCV discovering that WH Smith is set to charge £7,500 for a listing in its charts. The charge is for one month and is linked to a special campaign that gives those paying the fee a guaranteed chart slot. It is also linked to major PS2 promo activity around Easter." So many people want a piece of the pie, you can see why games are over £45. This charge is on top off the profits they make from selling the games in their stores- *sigh*
