Ok, first off I thank you for clicking on my post Here is my goal, to create a server in VB that acts as a emulator to a now cancelled MMORPG Legends of Kesmai. The original LOK server was programmed in COBLE and was later re-programmed into some form of Pascal. I know VB pretty well, but I have never done any programming using winsock or data transfer stuff. My question is will directPlay work in VB6, and if so is there anybook that covers DP8 server side programming in Visual Basic? Thanks again, Darkart
