Could anyone post some dplay8 code that i can use? I need 1 set of code that makes a server and 1 set that connect to the server. Also, i don''t wana use the netclient junk that the DX8 SDK uses. If you want to email it to me, my email is MadProgrammer@bigfoot.com Thanks

Check the documentation that came with the SDK. Microsoft has a chat program which has exactly what you described.

edit: It may or may not use netclient... I don't remember seeing it, but it has been a while...
