Brief description:

The title is a 2D, side-scrolling, character-based racing game. The game is in the final stages before art assets have to be implemented. Top-tier graphics are the expectation (see talent description below).

Target aim:

The initial market will be iPhone/iPad.

Compensation:

This is a paid position.

Technology:

Both 480x320 and 960x640 (Retina) resolutions will be supported, requiring separate files. After graphics are created, integration happens on my end.

Talent needed:

The project currently requires one (1) 2D artist. The ability to produce simple animations for a limited number of sprites would be a plus, though not required. The graphical style is a minimalist, creative, vibrant 2D. For a reasonable idea of the mockup style, look at screenshots of Locoroco, and some Patapon. Such a simple style can be difficult to expertly implement, and a creative, capable artist is required to create top-tier graphics. Considerable experience is not necessarily a requirement, but the standards for this project are high, and the artwork must match. Existing sketches and colour mockups will be provided, if we move forward with the discussion, to get the artist going. The asset volume required is fairly moderate.

Team structure:

Design and programming is my end, right now. Sound will be freelanced out as graphics are.

Contacts:

Please contact Donovan at DioxisHelp@gmail.com

Previous Work by Team:

No previous work. The company is new.

Additional Info:

Please take a look at the games mentioned above for a good idea of the skills required for this title. Please include links to any previous game work, or other graphics, in your email. Once we get talking, more information, along with the mockups that exist, will be sent your way.

I'm quite interested in this project. Even though that I don't have huge amounts of experience working with this kind of artstyle you're working for, I'd like to think that I make up for it in talent and resourcefulness. If you are interested, please check out my portfolio at www.michaelchiniquy.com.
