for a simple game, all an uninstall needs to do is delete the whole directory. that can''t take more than 100 bytes of code surely?
I hate complex installers, I dont need to spend half my lfie waiting for the ''installshield wizard''. bring back the days when games were just a directory full of stuff (which also meant you could move them without breaking the install...)

Take a look at "InstallMaker" here. Really good installer with extremely low overhead. Something around 40k
If size is a major cramp, use WinRAR. It makes tiny archives, because RAR is more efficient, and it also can make self-extractors, I believe. Check it out.

A lot of markets have broadband access. Or, if they don''t...make the game real real good, get good reviews, and the evil evil EVIL!!!!! (did I mention evil?) 56K crowd will still probably DL it. I mean, I sat there for a while downloading Half-Life 1106 a while back...before I got broadband. I''d say, if you''re catering to broadband first, top it at 20 MB, which is rather large. If you''re aiming at the 56Kers, 10MB is good enough. Slap those pretty pics back in, Jester.

Hmmmmm. Well the demo is restricted to one star system anyway, so I do not need to include the city/planet pictures of all other planets. And I also only included one song in the demo.
