Since it''s quite a technical matter, I''m not expecting you to explain it. Instead all I want is to see an example of it. I would like to see some hard Java code of a chat room, or in fact an internet network game. I would like to see some code so then I could implement it for myself, first making a chat room and secondly making a decent game. Thanks Ben Black

Everyone, I mean EVERYONE does a multi-user chat program for their Java classes and such.

Just do a google search for "multiple user chat java" or something similar you will get examples until your eyes pop out.

As for a game, I''m sure there are some out there, but never looked myself.

If you want to see a good networked java game check out http://www.runescape.com Just click on runescape. This is a massive multiplayer 3d role playing game, written entirely in java. And it runs pretty fast if you aren''t on a dialup..

-The cowboys have a way of trussing up a steer or a pugnacious bronco
which fixes the brute so that it can neither move nor think. This is the
hog-tie, and it is what Euclid did to geometry.
