What about the whole issue of making the CDs, etc? How would one go about doing that, and about how much does it cost?

Open the yellow pages and build contacts with container manufacturers and printers and media communications companies and disc duplication services.

The media communication companies are usually small businesses which will design and consult for you, and then farm out the jobs to the container and printer and duplication companies.

The container manufacturers make you box. They receive the printed material to make your box from the printer. The printer prints your box and your manual. The duplication service duplicates your CD. The media communication company designs your manual and box and works with the printer to get it to conform with exactly what the printer needs to make sure it prints well.

300.000 units is a bulk order so you''d get some heavy discounts from the manufacturers. I''d say you could get it produced for $150.000,- to $200.000,- in that case. For "normal" production runs of say 3.000 units it''s probably little over a dollar you''d pay per unit. It varies greatly between manufacturers.

Additional costs would be: artwork design, barcode/upc fees, ESRB rating and of course shipping and storage costs which all add something extra on top.
Benn finishing up college and am in and out of town so this has been late...but thanx for the feedback.
