The SkimWords linking for "target" is very aggressive.

The SkimWords affiliate integration is really, really aggressive about turning the word "target" into a link to the website of the Target retailer. I'm seeing the link nearly every time somebody uses the word in a thread (which is often, since it's a common word to use in the context of game development). It's never relevant (edit: except for in this thread where it successfully preferred to link my second, capitalized mention instead of my first non-capitalized mention like it normally does).

Is it possible for us to tone down or blacklist that particular link?

At least they are tagged on hover as "affiliate link" now.

I'm still not thrilled that it's hard to distinguish affiliate links from intentional links in the content, though.

Affiliate links have always felt like clickbait to me.  I was really sad when I started seeing them here.

Not if the SkimWords thing shows up in a quoted post, it seems...
